Church Council met recently and voted unanimously in favour of the church being registered as a venue for all marriages and blessings. The registration process may take a few months but we are happy that we have been able to affirm the inclusivity of Padgate Methodist Church.
When parking near the church, please be considerate to our neighbours. Do not park on the double yellow lines or block driveways. Many thanks in anticipation of your cooperation on this.
Corner Coffee Shop
Have you visited the Corner Coffee Shop? - Every Wednesday, 2pm until 4pm
We are a Fairtrade Church. The fairtrade stall will return following morning worship at a later date. Fairtrade goods are also available at 'Fair 4 All' in Warrington Market, Mon-Sat 9am - 4pm, however they are currently closed due to the lockdown guidelines.
Don't Despair, Text4Prayer - 07452 958 955 - an initiative to be more accessible to those who don't come to church. This allows people to text their prayer requests to a dedicated mobile phone. No confidential information is passed on and any requests are added into the prayer time during the normal church service. If anyone is interested in being a part of the team, please speak to Deacon Helen.
